My daughter and I were on the way to a birthday party an hour away in between church one Sunday. As we neared our destination, I noticed that my car started getting slower and slower, in spite of pressing the gas pedal harder.

When we stopped at a traffic light, the car died! All the lights on the dash, everything! I could not even put the hazard lights on! So, I had to get out and look around my vehicle to alert everyone behind me that we were having car troubles. So they could go around our car.

I was praying fiercely and was scared to death for our safety! This wasn’t a small town like where I’m from. A man and his son gave us a push out of the lane into an empty parking lot.

An older woman and her husband pulled in behind us and rolled the window down. They talked with us and asked where we were headed. This was before my cell phones days, by the way, so I had no way of getting a hold of anyone.

They offered to take us to Chuck E Cheese, which was not too far down the road. We had almost made it there for the party! 🤦‍♀️

She saw how much I hesitated. She said I know you are worried about getting into the car with a complete stranger. I would be, too. We saw you were church goers and we are too. We knew you needed help and needed a safe way to get where you were going because of having your young child with you. We want to help.

I looked her in the eyes, and something in my spirit told me that they were good people, so I took a chance. I felt peace. That was so not like me to take chances! Along the way, this sweet lady told me that normally they don’t go anywhere on a Sunday between church. They stay home and take a nap. But today, they just felt the need to take a ride with no where in particular in mind.

I came out and told her that I felt it was God. She said she thought so, too, so that we could stay safe. I offered to give them money for gas, even though it wasn’t too far away. There were several traffic lights in between where our car broke down to the pizza place.

They even walked us into the pizza place to make sure we had someone to take us home! I fully feel they were an answer to my prayer that day!

I wish I had gotten their names and number to properly thank them later, but sadly I didn’t. I guess I was too stressed to think about it. God Bless those sweet people! Their kindness will never be forgotten!

  5. Thank you Nina! It’s amazing the thought that God cares enough to send his earthly angels to help in our time of need! And even the thought of being entertained by heavenly angels unawares is amazing. 😇🌼💕

  6. If you want the password to my last post let me know. I put a password on it because I talk about some of the stuff I did in my past. Very weird stuff and I don’t want my younger followers reading it and getting totally freaked out. It’s pretty much read at your own risk but… it makes me what I am today…

Just let me know and if you do please delete it afterwards.
