STAND TALL IN THE SADDLE

You are God’s princess, Cowgirl!

A text I received yesterday.

Your on my mind today heavy. Just want you to know that I love you so much. And whatever your going through… God has you. He knows your struggles. I am here… I will always be here if you need me. A scripture that has weighed heavy on me is:
“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small” Proverbs 24:10
I pray that God keeps you tall in your faith in the adversity that you face. That you have the strength to stand tall on your darkest days.
I dont know why… but God led me to tell you this. I love you more than you will ever know.

Do you remember the time? The time God sent you a word of encouragement when you were fighting the fight of your life? You know the time…

The time when you went from one hard situation right into another? Back to back. It’s like the enemy knew if he could just get you tired. Take your rest away. Make sure you went all day without getting a break. Without time to eat. Make you weary. Worn. Not get one day to rest. Always on the phone taking care of a problem. On the road to somewhere. Appointments. Bills. Sickness. Caregiving. Worry. Nerves. Stress. Anxiety. Changing this. Changing that. Out of cooking staples. Run to the store. Dishes. Spills. Barking dogs. Crying babies. No more refills. Gotta call doctor to fix that. Something else broke down. Burning smell coming from car? Gotta replace that…. Enemy stirring up people. Situations. Surrounded by negativity. People cussing and fussing at you….Tired from the fight. Tired tired from the fight……..

Do you see yourself in any of these scenarios?

See Jane run. Run, Jane, run! 🤡 🏃‍♀️

“Oh you are tired, are you? Nope. We can’t have that! No rest for you, Soldier Boy!” Screams the enemy in your face. “I will get you worn down one way or another! Let’s just see how strong you really are!” Move it! Get back on your feet boy!”

You can’t make it.

Just quit.

You are not strong enough.

God does not care.

Is deaf to your cries.

Can’t see where you are.

Doesn’t love you.

You’re going under.

Your family don’t want God.

Things will always be this way.

Lies! Lies the enemy loves for us to believe.

STEADFAST

IMMOVABLE

EXCELLING

in the work of God.

“but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:57-58‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“I pray that God keeps you tall in your faith in the adversity that you face. That you have the strength to stand tall on your darkest days.”

It reminds me of the cowboy in a western who got shot, but somehow mustered up just enough strength to pull himself back up into the saddle, long enough to get away from the bad guy still shooting after him.

You are God’s prince, Cowboy!

That’s how we all are at times.

If you could “see” where you were going, it would not be called walking “BY” faith.

Pull yourself back up into the saddle. STAND TALL IN YOUR FAITH!!!! God knows right where you are.

Saying a prayer for you today, my friend! TOGETHER, WE ARE GONNA MAKE IT!!!!!

    • It helps to know that we are never alone in our struggles, Debbie. I don’t know what I would have done all these years without a friend like you! I’m so thankful that you were encouraged to saddle up your horse with me my friend! I’ve been praying for you in that situation. I think you are definitely a winner, if you keep the faith and faint not! You will see the salvation of the Lord! We will saddle up and ride together on this journey! I pray God gives you the inspiration and hope to write again. Love is the answer to every dilemma! And love has a name—Jesus!!! 🙌🏼💜🤗😘

  3. Thank you God. I am in tears knowing that God has been orchestrating this day of disappointment into one of encouragement. Thank you for allowing God to use you to encourage his children. God bless you.

  4. Renee, thanks for helping the rest of us to ride talk in the saddle. God will hold us up and keep us from falling off. Jesus finished the good fight, and He stands ready to catch us if we ever fall off they horse.
