“Show me a token for good; because thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.” ~Psalm 86:15

If someone had mentioned I’d totally be blogging almost two years ago, their gaze would have been most likely met with a raised eyebrow! It’s not that I didn’t love to write, but I had lost my way and was spinning my wheels–in a deep rut. My dreams of writing were hung high upon a shelf, while I locked a part of myself up and threw away the key.  Until one day, the Lord birthed an idea of a book inside me, of which I am still working on currently.

Looking back on fourth grade, who knew a simple catalog on the teacher’s desk would ignite a spark in this young girl’s life? I grabbed at the chance for extra writing credit on great American leaders, such as,  Harriet Tubman, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison and Booker T. Washington.  I had almost forgotten about that until recently.

When the spark turned into a flame was when it really clicked for me in seventh grade English.  Her name was Mrs. Linda Pulliam.  She was one of the first and few teachers who told me “I could.” The writing assignment was a one to two page story, choosing between two short titles.  The rest is history!

So here I am, after a good friend’s suggestion of blogging together–finally HOME.  On a really good day, I can be found writing on my back porch, in my “Happy Place.”–sipping coffee or sweet tea, laughing or crying (sometimes both at the same time) over a fellow blogger’s heart-warming post!

I love to encourage and inspire of the greatness that lives inside every one of us. I also love writing straight from my heart! It gives me joy to share the news that every one of us is HIS FAVORITE! ❤   Tucked in a post here or there, you will find some of the Love Tokens (love letters) that our Heavenly Father leaves behind, to show how much we are deeply cherished!

I am so thankful for this great community! You are FAMILY!

From my heart to yours–Always, Renee ❤
